- What is GST?

- What is the difference between Add GST and Remove GST?
- Add GST (exclusive) calculates the final price when GST is added to a base price. For example, if a product costs ₹1,000 and GST is 18%, the final price is ₹1,180. Remove GST (inclusive) extracts the base price from a GST-inclusive amount — useful when you know the final MRP and need to find the pre-tax price.
- What are CGST and SGST?
- For intra-state (within the same state) transactions, GST is split equally into CGST (Central GST, collected by the central government) and SGST (State GST, collected by the state government). Each is half of the total GST rate. For inter-state transactions, IGST (Integrated GST) is charged at the full rate.
