- Does it calculate driving distance or straight-line?
- It calculates straight-line (as-the-crow-flies) geodesic distance — the shortest path on the Earth's surface between two points. This is accurate for geographic calculations, coverage areas, and rough travel estimates.
- How do I add more waypoints?
- Click 'Add Waypoint' to add up to 5 locations. The tool will show the distance for each segment and the total path distance.
- What location formats are supported?
- City names, street addresses, country names, landmarks, and any place Nominatim (OpenStreetMap's geocoder) can find. Just type naturally.
- How accurate is the measurement?
- Very accurate — distances are computed using the geodesic formula on GPS coordinates returned by OpenStreetMap's geocoding service, accurate to within metres.
- Can I switch between kilometres and miles?
- Yes — toggle between km and miles on the results card after calculating.
