- Why does it say 'Downloading audio engine'?
- The first time you process a file, ffmpeg.wasm (~10MB) is downloaded and cached in your browser. Subsequent uses are instant. This is what enables fully offline, private processing.
- What audio formats are supported?
- You can import MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC, AAC, M4A, and Opus. Output formats include MP3, WAV, AAC, OGG, FLAC, and M4A.
- How does Remove Silence work?
- It uses ffmpeg's silenceremove filter to detect and cut segments below a configurable dB threshold and duration. Great for cleaning up podcast recordings or interviews.
- Can I merge more than 2 files?
- Yes — add as many audio files as you need in the Merge tab. They will be joined in the order shown.
